Malia Rose Harvey finished third in the women’s 60 meters at the George Fox Indoor 2 meet, held Saturday at the Multi-Use Facility in Newberg, Oregon. Harvey advanced through the preliminary round with a time of 8.02 seconds and improved to 7.96 seconds in the final to secure her podium position.

Other participants from Portland included Olivia Sendelbach, who ran an 8.33 in the prelims, and Aaliyah Nero, who set a personal best with a time of 8.35 seconds.

The Portland Pilots will next compete at the MPSF Indoor Track & Field Championships in Reno, Nevada.
