Kaden Segel helps Portland Pilots to 8-5 win over Niagara Purple Eagles

At 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, the Portland Pilots, featuring former Grant High School standout Kaden Segel, earned an 8-5 win against the Niagara Purple Eagles in NCAA Division I baseball action.

The matchup, held at Joe Etzel Field, marked the Pilots’ first game this season facing Niagara.

Segel gave up three earned runs in four innings and tallied four strikeouts.

The Pilots are set to play their next game against Niagara Purple Eagles at Joe Etzel Field on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 3 p.m.
