Former Ida B. Wells High School standout and current Linfield Wildcats player, Kaia Young will compete in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.
They begin the tournament against JWU Providence Wildcats.
The first game is on Thursday, May 15 at 2:30 p.m.
For the second consecutive season, Trey Swygart, a sophomore at Portland Pilots, has been named to the John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year Award Watch List.
Portland Pilots baseball will host the Holy Cross Crusaders in a four-game series at Joe Etzel Field from March 5 to March 8.
Thursday, March 5 will see these former City of Portland area high school stars in competition.
