Former Portland Central Catholic High School standout Emerson Dennis and his current team, the Linfield Wildcats, secured an 11-3 victory against the George Fox Bruins in their NCAA Division III baseball game at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28.

Curtis and Margaret Morse Athletic Fields served as the venue for this meeting, which marked their first game of the season against the Bruins.

Dennis pitched for one inning, allowing three earned runs and issuing one walk.

The Wildcats are set to face George Fox Bruins again on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Margaret Morse Athletic Fields.
