According to the Sheriff’s Office, emergency dispatchers received a 911 call at approximately 2:44 a.m. from a driver who reported that someone shot into their car near the intersection of Southeast Foster Road and Southeast Richey Road in unincorporated Multnomah County. The victim, a 24-year-old man, said he was driving a silver 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck eastbound on Southeast Foster Road when he passed an SUV described as a blue Ford Expedition. There were three people inside the victim’s vehicle—a 24-year-old man, a 19-year-old man, and a 22-year-old woman—but no one was injured during the incident.
The suspect reportedly drove eastbound on Southeast Foster Road toward Clackamas County immediately after the shooting. Deputies from both Multnomah County and Clackamas County checked nearby areas for suspects. The suspect’s SUV is described as an older dark blue Ford Expedition with a distinct gold-colored bumper, no license plates, and a temporary tag in the bottom left corner of its rear window.
