The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office asked for the public’s assistance on May 17 in finding Janet Lee Gray, a 61-year-old woman who was last seen in Wood Village.

According to the sheriff’s office, Gray left her care facility near Northeast 238th Drive and Northeast Halsey Street on Saturday, May 16. She has not returned since then.

Gray is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 135 pounds. She has grey hair and blue eyes. Authorities said she was last seen wearing a long white dress. The sheriff’s office also said that Gray is familiar with TriMet transit services and may visit family members in Washington County.

Officials consider Gray endangered due to health conditions that make her unable to care for herself. The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office urged anyone who sees Gray to call 911 immediately or provide information about her whereabouts by calling the MCSO tip line at 503-988-7300 and referencing case number 26-21119.

The search continues as authorities rely on community support to help ensure Gray’s safe return.
