Portland Pilots Men’s Soccer announced on Mar. 31 that it will host its second annual Men’s Soccer Gala on Saturday, April 25 at the University of Portland.

The event aims to celebrate the achievements of the men’s soccer program and raise funds for future initiatives. Organizers say it is an opportunity for alumni, community members, and supporters to gather in recognition of both past successes and upcoming goals.

“We are excited to bring back this event to celebrate UP Men’s Soccer’s incredible history while looking forward to the future,” Portland head coach Nick Carlin-Voigt said. “We invite all alumni, community members and friends of the program to spend an evening with us on April 25.”

The gala will feature dinner, speeches from soccer leaders in the Pacific Northwest and Portland area, as well as silent and live auctions. The Pilots recently completed one of their most successful seasons with a record of 14-2-4, achieving their highest winning percentage since 1988 (.800) and earning an eighth seed in the NCAA Tournament. It was also noted that this season marked only their third time receiving a first-round bye in program history.

Several players have been recognized nationally: eight have been selected for Major League Soccer’s SuperDraft over three seasons, with three earning invitations to U.S. Men’s National Team camps. Three recent draftees—Efetobo Aror (12th overall in 2025), Joe Highfield (11th overall in 2026), and Nikos Clarke-Tosczak (19th overall in 2026)—will return for another season.

Doors open at Bauccio Commons Board Room at 5:30 p.m., with dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tickets start at $200 per person or $1,500 per table.
