The Portland Pilots announced on March 12 that their scheduled Friday baseball game against the UConn Huskies has been postponed because of expected heavy rain. The teams will now play a doubleheader on Saturday, with the first game starting at 1 p.m.

This change affects fans who had purchased tickets for Friday’s game, as those tickets will be honored for the second game on Saturday. The second matchup is set to begin about 30 to 45 minutes after the conclusion of the first.

The Pilots currently hold an 8-6 record this season, following a sweep of the Holy Cross Crusaders last weekend. Updates regarding the series against UConn will be available on PortlandPilots.com.

Fans interested in attending future home events can purchase tickets through PortlandPilots.com/Tickets or by using the Portland Pilots App. Information about group and fan experience packages is available via email at pilotsboxoffice@up.edu.

Supporters wishing to contribute to University of Portland Athletics can make donations online, with all gifts being tax deductible and supporting over 300 student-athletes.
