Portland Pilots secure 11-3 win over Holy Cross; ex-Grant star Kaden Segel pitches in victory

Former Grant High School standout Kaden Segel contributed to the Portland Pilots’ 11-3 win over the Holy Cross Crusaders in their NCAA Division I baseball game Sunday, March 8, at 12 p.m.

The matchup was held at Joe Etzel Field and marked the teams’ fourth meeting of the season. The Pilots previously beat the Crusaders 13-3 on Saturday, March 7.

Segel pitched 1.1 innings, posting one walk and one strikeout.

Next, the Pilots are set to face the UConn Huskies at Joe Etzel Field on Friday, March 13, at 6 p.m.
