The Portland Pilots women’s track and field team won three events and set several personal records at the 2026 Pacific Open held March 28 at Hansom Stadium in Forest Grove, Oregon.

The results highlight a strong showing for the Pilots, with athletes excelling in both sprint and distance races. Aria Cain led the team by winning both the 100 meters (12.02 seconds) and 200 meters (24.96 seconds), achieving personal bests in each event.

In distance running, Lindsey Kaines secured first place in the women’s 1500 meters with a personal-record time of 4:31.89. Rose Perotin finished second in the same race with a time of 4:34.38, also setting a new personal record. Other notable performances included Giana Atkinson placing fifth with a personal best, while Julia Ferreira and Avery MacDicken also recorded their fastest times to date.

The team’s depth was evident as Lola Richardson, Alexis Leao, and Aaliyah Nero all finished within the top ten of the women’s 200 meters. Nero also set a new personal best in the women’s 100 meters.

Next on their schedule is travel to Stanford, California for the Stanford Invitational from April 3–4 at Cobb Track and Angell Field.

Freshman Hannah Butterfield led highlights with a top finish in the women’s 400 meters while relays also posted season-best times.
