Portland State lost a men’s tennis match to Weber State on March 22, with a final score of 6-1 at the Edman Tennis Courts in Ogden, Utah.

The match was closely contested, with four singles matches going to third sets. However, Weber State secured the doubles point by winning at both No. 2 and No. 3 positions. Edoardo Cravanzola also went the distance at No. 4 but fell in a super tiebreaker against Malan after splitting the first two sets.

Hampus Hagglund took his opening set at No. 6 against Zulch but ultimately dropped the next two sets (4-6, 1-6, 3-6). The Vikings’ only point came from Ruiz at No.5 singles as he earned a three-set victory over Lecoq (7-6, 4-6, 6-3).
