75 percent of applicants to the University of Portland were admitted for fall 2018

At the University of Portland, 98 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 60 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Portland enrolled 4,280 students in fall 2018, including 3,787 in undergraduate and 493 in graduate programs, data shows. 1.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

26 percent of undergraduates are residents of Oregon, and 72 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (57 percent) and Asian (14 percent).

The school admitted 75 percent of the 10,666 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 12 percent enrolled.
