Cost of college went up for all students at Lewis & Clark College

Tuition and fees rose 4 percent for 2018-19 at Lewis & Clark College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Oregon students paid $50,934 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $3,946 more than the $46,988 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 93 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 475 students received grants or scholarships totaling $13.5 million and 413 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.6 million.

Including all undergraduates (3,396), 1,839 students used grants or scholarships totaling $51.8 million, and 1,305 students took out $9.2 million in federal student loans.
