Cost of college was unchanged for all students at the Aveda Institute-Portland

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the Aveda Institute-Portland, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Oregon students paid $18,050 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 82 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 16 students received grants or scholarships totaling $70,311 and 21 students took out student loans totaling more than $128,688.

Including all undergraduates (244), 155 students used grants or scholarships totaling $666,594, and 182 students took out $1 million in federal student loans.
