Census Bureau: More women than men in Portland in 2019

Of the 645,291 people living in Portland in 2019, 50.4 percent (325,422) were women and 49.6 percent (319,869) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Portland Courant.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 224,499-to-223,277. In the 65 and over age range, there were 45,897 females and 36,603 males.
