King ranked 293rd in Oregon for the percentage of households receiving food stamps in 2020, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

There were 168 King households (7.4 percent) who received food stamps. King's population was 4,345 in 2020.

The city with the largest percentage of households receiving food stamps in the state was Beatty, which had 23 of 23 households receiving food stamps, 92.6 percent more than King. In 2020 the population of Beatty was 43.

The city with the lowest percentage of households receiving food stamps in the state was Adrian, which had one of 71 households receiving food stamps, 6 percent less than King. In 2020 the population of Adrian was 224.
