Could you use fresh air in the forest? Are you interested in learning the art and science of Bigleaf Maple Sugaring? If you answered yes, please join us for our Oregon Maple Project Field Trip to Camp Colton in Corbett, Oregon on February 10th. Transportation will be provided.
Learn about the science of sugaring, working on the maple farm, hearing stories, tasting syrup, drawing, and writing.
We will spend all of our time outdoors, no matter the weather, so please wear warm clothing and appropriate shoes. Bring a water bottle. Snacks will be provided. This is a fun, educational, in-person opportunity for PCC students.
Schedule:9:45am we will meet at Southeast MTH Rm 105.We will be back at Southeast Campus from Camp Colton around 3:30pm.Camp Colton is approx a 45 min drive from Southeast Campus.
We will be outdoors all day rain or shine. Please wear warm clothing and appropriate shoes. Bring a water bottle. Snacks will be provided.
Space is limited so sign up ASAP.
Registration is required to attend.
