"Staging the Square" is a square dance inspired contemporary dance performance with dancers Anatalya Piatigorsky, Beier Li, Ena Hashimoto, and Emma Potter. The work will explore square dance designs and frameworks through an abstracted choreographic approach, and will emphasize both the power and vulnerability of bodies dancing together as well as alone. A portion will be accompanied by violinist Ivy Queen. Free and open to the public. Masks are required for this event. Make your reservation here.
