March 2023 Wildlife Lobby Week + Training
Wildlife Lobby Week: March 14th-16th, 2023 (times TBD)
Training: March 13th, 2023 @6:00pm
Join us for our Wild Ones advocate training on March 13th at 6PM PT in preparation for our virtual wildlife lobby week March 14th-16th. At this training you'll learn everything you need to know about how to engage with our state's elected officials and how to effectively make your voice heard to advocate for wildlife.
Once you register, you will receive additional information about the schedule for meetings with elected officials and their staff and learn about the bills we're advocating for this legislative session.
What: 2023 Wildlife Lobby Week hosted by Oregon Wild
When: Legislator meetings during the week of March 14-16th, 2023 with a special Wild Ones training on March 13th.
Where: Because the Oregon state capitol is under construction, we are going to request virtual meetings with our state legislators.
Why: Oregon's hoofed, finned, winged and pawed animals can't speak for themselves, so they need passionate advocates like us to do it for them! We hope you can make it to our wildlife lobby day to let our decision makers in Salem know why the protection and restoration of Oregon's wildlife is vital.
Why do we need your address?
For the virtual wildlife lobby week we will be requesting meetings with your legislators and need to know your district.
