CITY OF KING: Planning Commission Vacancy

City of King issued the following announcement on May 24. 

The City Council of the City of King City is currently accepting applications to the Planning Commission for the following two positions.

  • SEI – 7113 Term expires June 1, 2022
  • SEI – 2588 Term expires June 1, 2022
  • SEI – 2591 Term expires June 1, 2022 – Vacent Seat
 Positions are A FULL TERM.

The City Council is planning to interview and review all applications on the following dates:

  • June 15, 2022, at 6:00 PM (interviewing, reviewing, and/or possibly appointing the position.) The City Council may add more dates for interviewing and reviewing applications.
Applicants must be King City residents or within the Urban Growth Boundary. The Planning Commission serves to review and advise the City Council on applications for development proposals to assure compliance with the comprehensive plan and development code of the city. The Planning Commission typically reviews applications for variances, conditional use permits, home occupations, subdivisions, parcel maps, and design reviews. The Planning Commission meets at City Hall on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 9:30 AM. The Planning Commission's application may be obtained at City Hall (15300 SW 116th Ave, King City, OR 97224, during the hours of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday.
