Multnomah County’s Campaign Finance Program resources are available online at MultnomahVotes.gov. Prospective and current Multnomah County candidates, candidate committees, potential and current contributors to those candidates, as well as voters and the general public can visit the Campaign Finance page on the Elections Division website to learn more.

Multnomah County Elections has released a new video Multnomah County Campaign Finance Rules that is a brief overview and introduction to contribution limits and disclosure requirements for Multnomah County candidates, including Chair, Commissioner, Sheriff, and Auditor. Elections in Multnomah County are set to become even more equitable, transparent, and accountable thanks to the Multnomah County Campaign Finance Program.

Approved by voters in 2016, this program affects all Multnomah County candidates and their campaigns. There are contribution limits for contributors and disclosure requirements for political committees, individuals, organizations, and those that make independent expenditures. The video is available on the Multnomah County Elections website and social media in English with subtitles in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Russian, Chinese (Simplified), Ukrainian, and Somali.

You can find more information including the Multnomah County Code and Rules, details about the complaint-driven enforcement process, and frequently asked questions at MultnomahVotes.gov
