June 27, 2023 Update: 

The SE Yamhill sinkhole repair has been extended longer than expected due to the limited availability of materials required to repair a sewer of this size and age. Crews are working as quickly as our supply chain allows and have been coordinating with multiple suppliers to receive the necessary material as soon as possible. The estimated delivery of the materials is July 21, 2023. 

For a scheduled project, materials are lined up in advance. Since this was an unanticipated emergency project, the materials required were not on hand.

For public safety and to reduce the potential for further damage to the street, sewer, and other utilities, we are maintaining the street closure. The traveling public should expect localized street closures and is advised to follow all traffic control signage. Sidewalks are open.
